 Picasso (Pablo Ruiz y Picasso) is one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. 
He was born on 25th October 1881 in Malaga, Spain. He showed a great love and 
skill for drawing from an early age, and at the age of seven, Picasso received formal 
artistic training from his father. At 13, he was admitted to a School of Fine Arts in 
Barcelona. In 1896, he completed 'Portrait of Aunt Pepa', which is considered one 
of the greatest works of Spain. During his life, he produced an enormous number 
of works of art: about 50,000 in total, including 1,885 paintings. Several paintings 
by Picasso rank among the most expensive paintings in the world. Picasso died on 
8 April, 1973 in Mougins, France.

The Temple of Literature - The Imperial Academy (Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam) 
includes four main gates and five courtyards. The entrance to the first courtyard is 
called Van Mieu Gate. The other three gates are Great Middle Gate, Khue Van 
Pavilion and Gate of Great Success. 
In the first two courtyards there are old trees, beautiful flowers and lawns. The third 
courtyard consists of Thien Quang Tinh Well and the Doctors' stone tablets. The next

courtyard is the Temple of Literature. It also contains offices, gift shops and a small 
museum. The buildings in the last courtyard were newly rebuilt.

about Chu Van An. Chu Van An was considered the most famous teacher at the 
Imperial Academy and one of the most remarkable educators in Vietnamese 
history. 
He was born in 1 292, in Thanh Tri District, Ha Noi. He was an honest man. He 
passed the royal examination. First he opened a school in his home village. Then, 
he became a teacher at the Imperial Academy. He taught many talented and 
successful students for the nation. 
Later, he resigned and returned to his home village. For the rest of his life, Chu Van 
An continued his teaching career and wrote books. He died in 1370.

The most common traffic problem in cities around the world is traffic jams. São 
Paulo in Brazil has the world's worst daily traffic jams. According to reports, the 
historical congestion record was set on June 1, 201 2, with 295 kilometres of vehicle 
queues around the city during the evening rush hour. Some other big cities also 
suffer from serious congestion in the rush hour. 
The main cause of this traffic problem is the increase of the population in big cities. 
So the number of people using the roads has risen several times. The second reason 
is that the roads are narrow and sometimes are not good enough. Also, many road 
users have no respect for traffic rules. As a result, this problem is getting worse and 
worse.

Thanksgiving (also called Turkey Day) is a seasonal holiday held annually to give 
thanks to God for successful harvests. In the USA the holiday is celebrated on the 
fourth Thursday of November. In Canada it is celebrated on the second Monday of 
October because the harvest there generally ends earlier. 
Thanksgiving is traditionally celebrated with a feast among family and friends. Not 
only adults but children take part in the food preparation. Traditional foods are 
turkey, stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes, cornbread, mashed potatoes, and cranberry 
sauce. After the feast people often do some other activities. Some like to go for a 
walk. Some take naps. Others play board or card games together. A lot of people 
take this opportunity to help the less fortunate. They volunteer to cook and serve 
food to homeless people, spend time with sick people in hospitals or help a needy 
family.

Last summer holiday my family went back to the UK and we went to a music festival 
on the Isle of Wight. It is one of the most famous music festivals in our country, 
which takes place every June. When we got there, I was impressed by the huge

didn't stay at a hotel but put up a tent in the camp site. It was lots of fun. We listened 
to a lot of songs by many bands such as The Killers and The Stone Roses. Guess

up the crowd in nearly three hours with the hit songs. We also went to the Bohemian 
Woods, a beautiful woodland down by the river. There we enjoyed a mix of good 
music from around the world and escaped the busy and noisy festival for a while.

Energy is fundamental to human beings. Many poor people in developing countries 
do not have modern sources of energy like electricity or natural gas, with which 
their life can be improved. 
People who live in mountainous areas have to gather wood for fuel. This takes a lot 
of time. For many people living in rural areas, biogas is the largest energy resource 
available. The main use of biogas is for cooking and heating, but it can also provide 
energy for public transport. As biogas is smoke-free, it helps solve the problem of 
indoor air pollution. Moreover, it's made from plant waste and animal manure. 
They cost almost nothing.

The tendency to use renewable energy sources in developing countries is on the 
increase as n0n-renewable ones are running out. In the future, the wind and the 
sun will be used as the most important environmentally friendly energy sources.

film looks beautiful. It's full of emotion, and it's much more gripping than other 
films I've seen. Five stars!
