UNIT 5: REVISION
1.	Class description: students (Ss) in grade 2-3
2.	Time: 90 minutes
3.	Objectives: After the lesson
- Skill: Ss will be able to:
 + know how to spell words: seesaw, slide, net, swing, pool, frisbee, ice-cream, tree.
 + know how to abbreviate: Where’s = Where is 
 + ask and answer question about the place.
- Language: Ss will be able to:
 + ask and answer about the place with structure: 
 Where’s.....?
 It’s.........
 + words about the place : on, in, under
4.	 Assumed knowledge: Ss have remembered some vocabularies related to the topic.
5.	Anticipated problem(s): 
-	Ss may not remember words about topic and the place.
6.	Teaching aids: Text book, flashcard, markers, computer, stickers.

Warm-up
-T says “ Hello, students” and asks “ How are you today?”
-T writes their names on the board.
- Checks the total.
- Playing Game: Living Words.
+ T divides class into 2 teams : Team A and Team B.
+ T asks Ss to make two lines ( each team is a line)
+ T gives letters: A, B, C or D,... Then, each team has to write words which are started with the letter.
+ Which team writes more words, will get 1 star
the maximum star in the game is 5 stars
- One by one stands up and answers the T’s question
(Each student has to say two things)
-Listen to T
-Make line
-Play the game

Review: New words
seesaw, slide, net, swing, pool, frisbee, ice-cream, tree.
-Playing game : Guessing words
+ T calls on a student to go the board, then T shows flashcard, only the student can see.
+ The student has to use guestures to guess other students what it is, doesn’t speak.
+ If the student speaks, she/he will lose her/his turn and other student will play.
+ Others have to think what it is. Who says firstly and correctly, will get 1 star.
-Playing game: Rub out and remember
+ T sticks flashcards on the board
+ T asks Ss to read the new words and remember it.
+ T aks all Ss close their eyes, then T will take out 1 flashcard and Ss have to answer which one has just taken out?
Who says firstly and correctly, will get 1 star.
+ T does it when the flashcards are gone.
-Listen to T
-Go to the board
-Play the game
-Listen to T
-Close eyes
-Hands up and answer the T’s question

Review: Spelling words
-T divides the class into 2 teams: Team A and Team B
-Play game: Finding letters
+ T asks 2 teams to make a big circle.
+ T puts letter flashcard on the floor, in the big circle.
+ Then Ss both go around and sing a song.
+ When T says any word, Ss of 2 teams have to find letters to make a word and stick it on the board.
Which team is quicker and correct, will get 1 star.
-Play game: Car-racing
+ T draws 3 lines which are parallel on the board ( to make 2 racetrack). T divides the racetrack into equal squares.
+ T says some words and asks Ss to write it on the board.
+ One by one has to write the word. Which team write correctly and more beautifully, will be forward a square.
+ Finally, which team finishes firstly, will be the winner and get 3 stars.
-Listen to T
-Make a big circle
-Go around and sing a song
-Find the letters
-Listen to T
-Write the words on the board

Review: on, in, under
-T aks each Ss to make questions and answer with structure:
Where’s....?
It’s.............
Using words: on, in, under and school supplies such as book, pen, ruller,...
Ex: where’s the pencil?
 It’s on/in/under the book.
-T asks Ss to write in their note book. Then T will call on Ss to read and correct.
-Listen to T
-Write in the notebook
-Stand up and read sentences.
