Lesson 2: A4-A6
A. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to ask to:
 Listen and recognize some transportation actions.
 Read the short text to talk about actions happening now.
B. Preparations: Pictures.
C. Procedure: 
Warm up: Hang six pictures on the board.
 - Asks Ss to write the means of transportation under each picture
 - Give feedback and correct.
* Answer keys: a. ride his bike d. ride his motorbike
 b. drive his car e. wait for a bus
 c. walk f. wait for a train
New lesson: 
I. Pre listening:
1. Pre teach vocabulary:

1. New words:
- a businessman (n) (translation)
-> businessmen (n)
- by plane (n) (picture)
- a businessman (n): nhà doanh nghiệp,
 thương gia
-> businessmen (n): những nhà doanh nghiệp, 
 những thương gia
- by plane (n): bằng máy bay

+ Ss listen and repeat (chorally/ individually).
 + Ss copy down.
Checking voc: ROR
- Rub out a word in English and point to the Vietnamese translation, Ss read in English chorally when all the English words are rubbed out.
- Ss go to the board and write the English words again.

* Set the scene: You will listen the transportation actions of people in the picture and write the number you hear, before listening you guess the order of each picture.

- Ss listen to the tape two times and check their prediction.

1. Pre reading:
- T hangs the picture on the board and elicits the questions.
- Ss answer.
* Example exchanges:
1. Who is that?
 That is Mr. Ha
2. Where is he going?
 He is going to Ha Noi.
3. How is he traveling?
 He is traveling by plane.

2. While reading:
- Ss listen to the text and repeat.
- Some Ss read the text in front of the class.
- Ss look at the picture, make questions and answers with “Who, Where, How?”.
- Work in pairs (Open pairs – closed pairs).
3. Post reading:
- Work in groups of four, using words given, makes questions and answers with: Who, Where, How?
* Words given:
1. Miss Hoa / school / walk
2. Mr. Hanh and Mrs. Thanh / the hospital / by car
3. Nam / the supermarket / by bus
4. The children / zoo / by car
- Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, Group 4
- Take out some groups to correct.
