 II. presentation :
Ex : Ba took a shower last night .
 Ba was taking a shower at 8 o’clock last night 
The past progressive :
S + was / were + V-ing
à Usage : Diễn tả một hành động đang xảy ra tại một thời điểm xác định trong quá khứ.
 à Look at the pictures . Say what each person was doing at 8 o’clock last night .
Hoa / have dinner
Ex : Hoa was having dinner at 8 o’clock last night .
Bao / read a comic
Nga / write a letter

The present progressive tense
S + is / am/ are + always + V-ing .
Usage : Dùng diễn tả 1 hành động đang xảy ra ở hiện tại , thường có trạng từ nơ, at prếnt , at the moment 
 - Ngoài ra HTTD còn diễn tả sự phàn nàn với always sau ‘ am , is , are ‘.
