Could you show me the way to the supermarket, please? (hỏi thăm đường đi) - OK. Go straight ahead. Take the first street on the right. The supermarket is in front of you. Thể so sánh: a) So sánh hơn (comparative): * Tính từ ngắn: Ex: - She is thinner than me. (I am) S +be + adj-er + than ... - This box is bigger than that one. (box) * Tính từ dài: Ex: - This student is more intelligent than that one. Các thì (tenses): a) Thì hiện tại đơn (simple present tense): * Khẳng định (positive form) Ex: - I go to school every morning. - She gets up at 6 o'clock. Then she has breakfast at 6.30 and goes to school at 6.40. * Phủ định (negative form): Ex: - She isn't at home. - Lan doesn't like milk. * Nghi vấn (interrogative form) - Is she at home? - Does Lan like milk? - Can you swim? b) Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn (present progressive tense): S + am / is / are + V-ing... * Khẳng định: Ex: - We are going to the zoo at the moment. - Minh's father is planting trees now. S + am / is / are + not + V-ing... * Phủ định: Ex: - We are not going to the zoo at the moment. Am / Is / Are + S + V-ing ...? - Minh's father is not planting trees now. * Nghi vấn: Ex: - Are they singing now? - Is Mai's mother cooking lunch at the moment? c) Thì tương lai đơn (simple future tense): S + will / shall + V (infinitive)... * Khẳng định: Ex: - I will (shall) do a test tomorrow. She will eat first. Then she will take a shower.
