Planning date:12 - 8- 2016.
Period 1: GIỚI THIỆU BỘ MÔN, CÁCH HỌC.
I.Giới thiệu bộ môn tiếng Anh lớp 6.
- Tiếng Anh lớp 6 nhằm giúp các em bước đầu làm quen với tiếng Anh ở cấp THCS, đồng thời giúp các em luyện tập để có thể nghe, nói, đọc, viết được tiếng Anh ở mức độ đơn giản thông qua các bài học phong phú và sinh động.
- Tiếng Anh lớp 6 gồm 16 đơn vị bài học (Unit). Mỗi đơn vị bài học gồm 2 đến 3 phần (section) A, B, C tương ứng với các chủ đề có quan hệ chặt chẽ đến nhau.
- Các hoạt động cơ bản:
+ Giới thiệu ngữ liệu mới gồm các mục như: repeat, listen and read.
+ Kiểm tra ngữ liệu mới gồm các mục như: ask – answer, practice with a partner, match, true – false...............
+ Thực hành có các loại bài tập khác nhau.
+ Remember là mục ghi nhớ.
+ Grammar practice là mục luyện tập ngữ pháp.
II. Cách học bộ môn tiếng Anh 6:
- Trên lớp chăm chú nghe giảng, ghi chép bài đầy đủ. Về nhà học bài, làm bài đầy đủ theo hướng dẫn của giáo viên.
- Tích cực hoạt động trong giờ học: thực hành theo cặp, nhóm.............
III. Một số câu mệnh lệnh giáo viên thường dùng trên lớp:
Listen: nghe
Repeat: nhắc lại
Write: viết
Read: đọc
Listen and repeat: nghe và nhắc lại
Again: lại
Stand up: đứng lên
Sit down: ngồi xuống
IV. Một số ký hiệu về từ loại:
(n): danh từ
(v): động từ
(adj): tính từ
(adv): trạng từ
(prep): giới từ

Period 2. UNIT 1: GREETINGS
LESSON 1:A-HELLO: A1 – 4. P10 – 11.
I. Aims: 
- To help students know how to greet their friends and introduce themselves.
- To help students know numbers from 0 to 5.
- To develop students’ skills.
II. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to say “Hello”, “Hi” to greet others and introduce their names with “I’m...............”, “My name’s...................”
III. Ways of workings: 
- Teacher – the whole class, pair work, team work, individual work.
IV. Materials: 
- Text book, pictures, card, cassette and tape .
V. Anticipated problems:

1. Warm up: (3min): Greet and check the students’ attendance.
 Show Ss the picture 1 on P10 and ask some questions:
 Where are these students?( in the school)
 What are they doing? ( meeting, shaking hands and greeting )

I. Aims: - To help ss know how to ask and answer about health.
 - To help ss practice numbers from 6 to 10.

II. Objectives:
 - By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to ask and answer with “ How are you?”, “ I’m fine, thanks.”, and say numbers from 6 to 10.
III. Ways of working: 
- T – WC, pair work, team work, individual work.
IV. Materials:
- Text book, pictures in the text book(A3-8), tape, color chalk, additional board.
V. Anticipated problems: 
- The activity “ Rubout and remember dialogue may be difficult for some ss.
- The lesson may take time.

- To help ss to greet each other with “Good morning; Good afternoon; Good evening; Good night”
- To help ss practice numbers from 11 to 15.
- To develop ss’ skill.
II. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to greet others with “Good morning; Good afternoon; Good evening; Good night” and say numbers from 11 to 15.
III. Ways of working:
- Teacher – the whole class, pair work, individual work.
IV. Materials:
- Text book, pictures, cassette and tape, additional board.
V. Anticipated problems:
- The activity “ Ordering vocabulary” may be difficult for some ss.
VI. Teaching steps:
1. Warm up (5 minutes): - Greet and check the ss’ attendace.
 - Ss do this exercise: Complete the dilogue: 
Ba: Hello,....................... . How.........................?
Hoa: Hi, I’m......................, thank you. ..........................?
Ba: Fine, thanks.

- Good night là lời tạm biệt dùng khi chia tay vào buổi tối, Good bye dùng khi chia tay vào mọi thời gian trong ngày. Bye là lời chào tạm biệt dùng trong trường hợp thân mật, giữa bạn bè cùng trang lứa.
