I/ Warm up
_Ask Ps to say the colours of the clothes they are wearing. E.g. Teacher (pointing to the P’s shirt): What colour is it? ; P: It’s blue.
_ Introduce the new lesson.
II/ Presentation
Look, listen and repeat
_ Ask Ps to open the book on page 54
and look at the picture.
_ Help Ps to identify the characters: Linda and Nam. Tell Ps that they are going to listen to the recording and repeat the dialogue between Nam and Linda.
_ Write the new vocabulary on the board: wear, T-shirt, jeans, hair.
_ Get Ps to say each new vocabulary item a few times.
_ Play the recording through for Ps to listen to the dialogue 
_Play the recording again, pausing after each line for Ps to repeat 
_ Divide the class into two groups to take turns to say the lines from Linda and Nam. 
_ Call some Ps to demonstrate the task in front of the class.
_ Check to make sure Ps can repeat and understand the dialogue.
Look and say
_ Ask Ps to look at the Pictures a, b, c, d, e and f on page 54. Tell them that you are going to practise asking and answering questions about someone’s clothes.
_Give some new vocabulary: shirt, dress, blouse, jeans, trousers, shoes.
_Guide Ps some sentence patterns:
What’s he/ she wearing?
He’s/ She’s wearing a T-shirt and jeans. 
_ Do the task with one P as an example 
 Example: a shirt

_Ask Ps to work in pairs, one P asks and the other responses. Repeat the step, but this time ask Ps to swap their roles. 
_ Select some pairs of Ps to demonstrate the task in front of the class.

How to play the game:
_ Select two teams of three or four. Put some pieces of clothing such as jeans, trousers, blouse, T-shirt, skirt, dress, on the table. Ask the teams to role play, asking and answering questions about clothes the following:
Team 1: I’d like a pair of shoes, please.
Team 2: What colour would you like?
Team 1: I’d like the black ones. How much are they?
Team 2: They’re 90,000 dong.
_ The team that fails to ask or answer the questions about the pieces of clothing and their prices will lose the game. If the teams play the game well, ask them to swap their roles and start the next round.
_ Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary.
_ Find out the winners.
