I. Warm - up. 
- Greet the Ss. 
- Spend a few minutes revising previous lesson by calling two groups to the front of the class to play a game of Slap the board, using the vocabulary learnt.
II. New lesson.
* Period 1
1. Vocabulary:
- T give pictures and commands, actions 
- these: đây, này( số nhiều)
- those: kia ( số nhiều)
* Ps listen and repeat, read in choral individually.
- Checking: What and Where
2. Presentation 
- Set the context. 
- Play the recording, Ps’to listen and then in pairs
- Ss read again in pairs.
- Elicit the meaning, the usage and the form. 
	A: These are books.
	B: Those are pens.
3. Practice:	
- Run through all the pictures
- Do the task with one ps as an example.
- Ps’ work in pairs to practice
- Select a few pairs to perform the task in front of the class.	
- Ps do action.
4. Let’s talk
- Ps practice 
-Elicit the words to fill the gaps.
- Get Ps to work in pairs
- Call a few pairs to perform the task in fornt of the class.
* Period 2
1. Listen and number
- Ask ps are going to listen and number the correct boxes . Draw ps' attention to the pictures. 
- Play the recording three times for ps to listen, do the task and check their answers
- Get ps to swap and check their answers before checking as a class.

2. Read and circle
- Ask ps that they are going to read all the sentences on the left and pair them with those on the right by drawing a line between them. Get ps to work in pairs.
- Give ps time to do the task.

A. Objectives: 
- By the end of this unit, ps can pronunce the sounds of the letters r and th in the words ruler and these respectively.
 B. Language input: 
- Phonics: r, th

- Student’s book - puppets- CD/ tape- Cassette player- pictures of class.
D. Procedures:
I. Warm - up. 
- Spend a few minutes revising by playing the Kim’s game ( see Activities Banhk) using the vocabulary learnt.
 II. New lesson. 	
*Period 1
1. Phonics
- Ask ps that they are going to practice saying the letters, words and sentences in the 
book. Put the phonics letters r and th on the board and say them a few times. Ask ps 
to repeat after you.
- Do choral repetition of the words and sentences unit ps feel confident.
2. Listen and write
- Ask ps that they are going to do a dictation. Give ps a few seconds to read the text in silence.
- Have ps swap and check their answers before checking as a class. Write the correct 
 answers and practice son the board for ps copy down into their notebooks.
- Get ps to work in pairs and pracitice saying the sentences.

3. Let's sing
- Ps that they are going to sing the Chant. Teach the song.
- Chant each line of the chant and have ps repeat a few times.
- Read the lyrics and check comprehension. Play the recording all the way through.
- Ask groups of ps to sit face to face and practice chanting and clapping.
- Call a group of four to the front of the class, each chanting two lines of the chant.
* Period 2
1. Read and match
- Ask ps that they are going to read all the sentences on the left and pair them with those on the right by drawing a line between them. Get ps to work in pairs.
- Give ps time to do the task.
- Get ps to swap and correct their answers.
- Call a few open pairs to read the dialogues.
