We can learn water temperature, depth and the undersea populations from the satellite photos. 5. There are 2 groups of marine plants and animals. 6. If the sea biodiversity were not maintained, marine life would be at stake. - This is a kind of reading for specific information, teacher gives some tips to do the exercise. + Read the statements carefully. + Underline the key words of the statements and find the information that is relevant to the key words in the passage. - Asks students to answer and give evidence. - Gives feedback. - Listen to the teacher and take note. - Discuss with their partner, use the tips that teacher gives and give parts of speech of necessary words. gulf (n) vịnh. investigate (v) điều tra. oversized (adj) quá khổ. tiny (adj) nhỏ xíu, bé tí. biodiversity (n) sự đa dạng sinh học. samples (n, plural) vật mẫu. challenges (n) thử thách, thách thức. provide (v) cung cấp. F -> Scientists now overcome the challenges of the death by using modern devices. 3. F -> Submarine can help scientists investigate the seabed and bring samples of marine life back to the surface for further study. 4. T 5. F -> There are 3 groups of marine plants and animals. They are those that live on or depend on the bottom like the starfish, those that move independently of water currents such as fishes and sharks, and those that are carried along by the currents like the jellyfish. 6.
