T: To understand more about the life of a famer ,today we ‘re going to learn unit 1
Vocabulary :

-plot of land : thua ruong (translation )
-(to) plough: cay (ruong) : turn up the soil ( What is the man doing? Ploughing.)

 -. 4.30 : the alarm goes off and Mr Vy gets up, goes down to the kitchen ,boils water for tea, drink tea ,has quickbreakfast, leads the buffalo to the field.
 - 5.15: leaves house
 - 5.30 : arrives at the field.,ploughs and harrows
 - 7.45 : takes a break.
 - 10.30 : goes home. 
 - 11.30 :has lunch with family.
 In the afternoon 
 -2.30 : Mr Vy and Mrs Tuyet go to the field again ,repair the banks of the plot of land. He pumps water into the plot of land .She does the transplanting. 
 -6.30 p.m : finish work.
 -7.00 p.m : have dinner
 After dinner.
 - Watch T.V, go to bed.

AIMS : to help Ss understand the content and language of the simple past tense and the structure of a narrative.

Key: -The events :got onthe plane ,the plane took off, the air- hostesses were just beginning to serves lunch when the plane to shake, the plane seemed to dip, many people sreamed in panic
The climax : we thought we had only minutes to live
The conclusion : the pilot announced everything was all right ,we landed safety.

Task 3 : (p.18) : Writing a narrative using the prompts given(12’)
Ss practise writing a narrarive about a hotel fire by using the prompts (groupwork)

 Two years ago , My friend and I went to TH.An beach for swimming . The weather was fine at that time . The water was cool . we swam happily in the sea , then it got dark and started to rain . It rained heavily , then we swam to the shore. Suddenly , a violent wave appeared and draw us off the shore . we were both frightened and shouted . Luckily some men saw that and jumped downed to save us . They took us to the shore and give us first aids. We drank alot of water and felt tired . An hour later we got better and they took us to our houses . ......
