Lesson 3:LISTENING
 Aim:  To hepl ss develop listening skill for specific iformation and taking notes while listening.
  To know some information about Pele, a famous Brazilan football player.
	Aids: - Textbook, handouts.
	 PROCEDURE:
	I/ Warmer: (7')
Have ss look at the photos on p.147 and name each player in the photos.
1. Pele.	3. Zidane.	 5. Beckham.
2. Maradona.	4. Barthez.
What do you know about them ?
Who do you like best ? Why ?
Among some famous football players, who is the greatest player of all 
time ?(Pele)
Today, you are going to listen about the world’s most famous footballer, Pele.
	II/ Pre listening:
	1. Vocabulary:(7')
	  score ( v ) : to make a goal ( ghi bàn ).
	 goal – scorer : person who makes a goal. 
	  hero ( n ) : anh hùng . 
	 - retire ( v ) : leave office or employment because of age.
	 retirement ( n ) : condition of having retired.
	 - ambassador : Đại sứ .
	 - promote ( v ) : advance sb to higher position: thăng chức cho ai, đẩy mạnh.
