UNIT7: LISTENING
*Aims: To help Ss be able to better their ability to listen to news editions through Gap-filling exercise.	
*Teaching aids: cassette-player , handouts, pictures.
*Procedure:
Warm -up: Guessing game(7')
- Provide three clues about the word News/News Broadcast. Ss have to guess the word in the first clue, they get 30 points, 20 points in the second clue and 10 in the third clue.
	1. It is one of the radio programmes.
	2. It broadcasts daily and live from radio station.
	3. It updates you with the latest information, currenr affairs domestically and internationally.

I. Pre-listening: 
1. Lead-in:(3')
- Ask Ss to work in pairs and ask and answer the questions:
	a. How often do you listen to the radio ?
	b. How many hours per week do you listen to it ?
	c. What programme do you like listening to and why ?
T: News broadcast it is a popular programme on the radio. Today you will listen to a short news edition. 
II. While listening:
