Reading comprehension
Aims: To help Ss read TV programme schedules and be able to talk about their favourite promrammes.
Skills: To teach intergrated skills focus on reading and speaking.
Teaching aids: textbooks, pictures, flipcharts, real objects.
Procedure:
I. Warm-up: (7') JUMBLED WORDS
- Give 4 words of which letters are in the wrong order.
- Note Ss that all the words are forms of mass media.

II. Pre - reading:
1. Lead-in: (3')
T : 	-Television, newspaper, radio and magazine are called mass media.
	-Mass media or mass communications refer to public institutions that report news and other stories. Mass media also keep people updated.
-Today we’ll study something about Mass media.
2. Answering the questions: (pairwork)(3')
	a. When do you often watch TV ?
	b. How many channels are there on our national TV ?
	c. How many hours per week do you watch TV ?
