Procedure:
I.Warmer : Matching
	Picture	Name of electric devices

7.	đ	g. fax machine
	- T asks Ss to go to the board and match pictures with name of eletric devices.
II. Pre-speaking : 
*Lead in: 
-T asks Ss some questions about those devices
	What’s the washing machine used for?
	đ To wash clothes.
Today we’ll practise speaking about the use of modern devices.
-T practise Ss reading the words above (name of electric devices)
 2. New words :
 - to be away from : di khoi	
ex: I look after her baby when she is away from home.
 - transmit (v): truyen. phat (chuong trinh)
ex: The world Cup final is transmitted live to over 50 countries.	 
- imformation technology(n) : 	 (translation)
 - store (v) = keep	 (synonym)
ex: Computer stores a lot of information.
 3.Checking new words : What and Where
III. While- speaking :
1.Task 1: Ask and answer (page 56) (pairwork) 
ex: A: Could you tell me what a cell phone is used for ?
	B: It’s used to talk to people when you are away from home.
Ss work in pair to make conversations similarly.
Note:	 - What + be + Noun + used for ?
- Subject + be + used + 	to infinitive phrase
	for + gerund phrase
* This structure is used to ask and answer about the use of somethings
2.Task 2: Complete the sentences. (pairwork) (page 56)
- Ss work in pair to choose correct verbs to fill in blanks of sentences.
 - T checks and gives keys.

3.Task 3: Explanation. (pairwork) (page 56)
- Ss work in pairs to ask and answer about the use of information technology based on ideas in task 2.
