- Thì hiện tại đơn giản dùng để diễn tả:
+ hành động xảy ra thường xuyên trong hiện tại.
Ex: I usually go to school by bike 
 + Một thói quen hoặc một hành động
 được lặp đi lặp lại ở hiện tại.
Ex: I always get up at six o’clock
 + Diễn tả một hành động thuộc về thiên nhiên thời tiết, một sự thật vĩnh hằng không bao giờ thay đổi

3.Cách chia ngôi thứ 3 số ít câu khảng định
-Thông thường thêm “s” (gets up,) trừ những trường hợp sau đây thêm “ es”
+ động từ tận cùng bằng: o,s, ch,sh, x, z ( goes, watches, washes.)
-Tận cùng y trước y là nguyên âm, ta thêm s: plays. Trước y là phụ âm đổi y-->i sau đó thêm es. (Studies.)

I. Present progressive tense 
1.The use 
- Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn được dùng để diễn tả hành động đang xảy ra tại thời điểm nói ở hiện tại 
- Give example

Note: Thường có các trạng từ dùng kèm như : Now (bây giờ) ; at the moment ( ngay lúc này) ; at present (lúc này), right now ( ngay bây giờ), at this time , look, listen .

3.Cách thêm “ing”
- Nêu cách thêm đuôi - ing vào sau động từ ?
a. Thông thường thêm -ing vào sau động từ
 Eg: Read -> reading
 Going -> going
b. Động từ tận cùng bằng e , chúng ta bỏ e, rồi thêm –ing.
Eg: Write -> writing
 Live -> living
c. Động từ một vần tận cùng bằng một phụ âm trước phụ âm là một nguyên âm, chúng ta gấp đôi phụ âm rồ thêm –ing.
Eg: Run -> running
 Sit -> sitting
d. Động từ hai vần: vần thứ hai được nhấn mạnh 
( có dấu trọng âm) tận cụng bằng một phụ âm, trước phụ âm có một nguyên âm, chúng ta cũng gấp đôi phụ âm rồi thêm đuôi -ing
eg: begin -> beginning
Động từ tận cùng là “ie” thì ta đổi ie thành y rồi thêm – ing

- Giáo viên cung cấp các giới từ chỉ địa điểm và cách dùng
in, at, on, in front of, behind, between, to
1.At: dùng cho một địa điểm xác định:
Ex: At home, at school, at my house.
2.On: ở trên 
 Ex: on the table, on the way. on the river
3.In: (ở trong) 
Ex: In the box, in the village, in the class.
in fron of: ( đằng trước): chỉ không gian
Ex: in front of my house there is ayard.
5. Behind: ( đằng sau): chỉ không gian
Ex: behind of my house is a garden.
*after: (sau) chỉ về thời gian hay thứ tự
Ex: What do you do after school?
Between: (giữa): hai người hoặc hai vật
Ex: I sit between Lan and Nga.
To ( đến/ tới): dùng sau động từ chỉ sự chuyển động
Ex: He goes to school.
Opposite ( đối diện)
Ex: My house is oposite the bookstore.
To the left : ( bên trái)
To the right: ( bên phải)
near: (gần)
