I.CONTENT
1. Hiện tại đơn giản (simple present)
1.Usage:
- diễn tả một thúi quen ở hiện tại
Eg:She often goes to shool on foot.
- diễn tả một sự thật hiển nhiờn
Eg : The sun rises in the East.

* to have: have ,has 
* ordinary verbs :V ( inf )/V(s/es )

Khi chia động từ ở ngôi thứ 3 số ít, phải có s ở đuôi và vần đó phải được đọc lên.
Ví dụ:
John walks to school everyday.
- Nó dùng để diễn đạt 1 hành động xảy ra ở thời điểm hiện tại, không xác định cụ thể về mặt thời gian và hành động lặp đi lặp lại có tính quy luật.
- Nó thường dùng với 1 số phó từ như: now, present day, nowadays. Đặc biệt là1 số phó từ chỉ tần suất hoạt động: often, sometimes, always, frequently.
Ví dụ:
They understand the problem now.
Henry always swims in the evening. (thúi quen)
We want to leave now.
Your cough sounds bad.
2. Hiện tại tiếp diễn (present progressive)
1. form: (+) S + Be + V-ing + O (Be = am/are/is)
 (-) S + Be + not + V-ing + O
 (?) Be + S + V-ing + O
* Adv : now, at the moment, at present, right now
* eg: Nam is reading book now
 Nam and Lan are listening to music at this moment.
 What are you doing now ?
Diễn tả một hành động đang xảy ra tại thời điểm núi
- Nó dùng để diễn đạt 1 hành động đang xảy ra ở thời hiện tại. Thời gian được xác định cụ thể bằng các phó từ như now, right now, presently.
- Nó dùng để thay thế cho thời tương lai gần.
Ví dụ:
He is learning in the US.
Lưu ý: Để phân biệt tương lai gần và hành động đang xảy ra cần căn cứ vào phó từ trong câu)
Ví dụ:
The committee members are examining the material now. ( hiện tại đang kiểm tra)
George is leaving for France tomorrow. (tương lai gần - sẽ rời tới Pháp vào ngày mai)
+ Đối với những động từ có đuôi “e” bỏ “e” sau đó mới + “ing”.
+ Động từ cá một âm tiết, kết thúc là phụ âm,trước là một nguyên âm
à nhân đôi phụ âm “am” cuối rồi thêm “+ing”.
- Eg : Write à Writing, Put à Putting.
 But cry à Crying , Cut à Cutting.
2) Uses : Diễn tả một hành động, sự việc đang diễn ra tại thời điểm nói.
- Eg : We are barning E in the classroom now.
 He is watching T- V at the moment.
- Diễn tả một dự định, một kế hoạch sắp được thực hiện.
- Eg : + She is going to Ha Noi tomorrow morning.
 + We are going to Dalat this summer.
à Thì HTTD đi kèm với các adis : now, at present, at the moment hoặc sau động 
 từ “ look !” “ listen !”..
- Eg : Look ! The bus is coming.
 Listen ! He is speaking.
-*Notes : HTTD không dùng với các động từ chỉ cảm như : See, smell, taste, love, 
 feel, agree, forget, enrget, enjoy, want, haite, know
- Eg : I don’t know him thay vì ( I am not knowing him)
 I likes it very much ( not I am liking it very much ).

Hiện tại tiếp diễn (present progressive)
I. Aim:
- Sts will get to know about the present progressive and do exercises of three tenses 
* Present progressive tense
 + S + is/am/are + V-ing .
 - S + is/am/are + not + V-ing 
 ? (Wh) + is/am/are + S + V-ing.?
II. Procedure: 
1. Form: (+) S + Be + V-ing + O (Be = am/are/is)
 (-) S + Be + not + V-ing + O
 (?) Be + S + V-ing + O
