Period 1:
THE SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
I. Aims and objectives:
To help the students to practice the way using of the simple present tense 
To help the students to do some exrcises.
II. Language contents :
j Grammar : : review
k Vocabulary : review 
III. Techniques : pair work ; chatting, communicative approach.
IV.Procedures :
A. Review:
Thì hiện tại đơn:(The simple present tense)
Cách dùng:
-Diễn tả thói quen, sở thích, hành động lặp đi lặp lại
ex: He gets up at six
- Thời khóa biểu, lịch trình, sự thật hiển nhiên, chân lí
ex: We have Math on Monday
Form
a.Câu khẳng định:trong câu khẳng định chú ý động từ đi sau ngôi thứ 3 số ít thì động từ phải thêm “S” hoặc “ES”.còn các ngôi khá giữ nguyên.
 + S + V / Vs/es
 - S + don’t / doesn’t + V
 ? Do / Does + S + V?
 Yes, do / does.
 No, don’t / doesn’t.
Note: Những động từ có chữ cái kết thúc bắng các từ sau:o,s,x z,ch ,sh thì ta thêm “es” còn lại ta chỉ thêm “s”
Lưu ý:Một số động từ tận cùng là y ta đổi y thành i rồi thêm “ es”
Ex:- They study English on Monday
 - she studies English on Monday
*.Câu hỏi với wh.(what,who,why,which,when,how):
Wh +do+you/I/we/they/ N(số nhiều) +V(n/m) ..?
Ex: which sports do they play? -They play soccer.
Wh+does+ She/he/it/ N(ngôi thứ 3 số ít) +V(n/m) ?
Ex:which sports does she play? -She plays soccer
câu trả lời phụ thuộc vào từng từ hỏi cụ thể.

Cã 3 c¸ch ®äc : / s / , /z/ ,/ iz/.S/ES được đọc là :
1. Đối với “s” :
 - “s” được đọc là “s” nếu từ tận cùng bằng : t, th,f (gh),p, k (cách nhớ : tôi thở fì phò khiêng )
Ex : cuts	cooks	 cough chops ( verb )
books	seats	 cups	 laughs moths / two- fifths (noun)
- trường hợp còn lại đọc là /z/ : pens	 rulers bags 
 2. Đối với “es”:
-“es” đọc là /iz/ nếu từ tận cùng bằng : ch, -ss x,s(ce), ,sh ,ge.
 ( cách nhớ :cháu sợ xuống sông,shuồng
Ex : watches	 washes	misses	 classes fixes services oranges
 - trường hợp còn lại đọc là /z/ :goes , does , toes , closes

Period 2: PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
I. Objectives:
- To help the students to practice the way of using Present continuous tense.
- Develop speaking and writing for ss.
II Content
A. Review:
* Form:
(+ )S + am/ is/ are + V-ing +...
(-) S + am /is/ are+ not + V-ing.
(?) Am/ Is/ Are + S + V- ing?
-Dùng để diễn tả những hoạt động đang diễn ra ở hiện tại hoặc đang diễn ra tại thời điểm nói. 
*. Cách thêm ING sau động từ
A. Bình thường ta thêm ING sau động từ
 Vi dụ: play - > playing, go - > going, 
B. Khi một động từ tận cùng bằng e ta bỏ e trước khi thêm ING
 ví dụ:drive-driving. Ride - > riding, have - > having
C. Khi một động từ có một âm tiết , tận cùng bằng một phụ âm trước nó là một nguyên âm và thì ta thì ta gấp đôi phụ âm này trước khi thêm ING
 ví dụ: run - > running.(chạy) Get - > getting
