Personal computers, or PCs, are an important	 part of our everyday lives. Many people cannot imagine life without them. One the most important people in making these machines work is Bill Gates.

For more than ten years, he worked sixteen-hour days, seven days a week. He had a dream and the will to succeed. By 1997, he was the richest man in the United States.
