Last summer I had a chance to join my friend’s family on a trip to his home village , about 75 km to the south of Da Nang city. The village lies in a valley and by the Thu Bon river. We went there by car and it took us two hours to arrive at the village . Our car ran at an average speed so that we could enjoy the beautiful sights along the road .The green paddy fields stretched as far as the eyes could see. Some cows and buffalloes were grazing by the roadside , the farmers were working hard in their field .Our car had to overcome a pass to reach the village .We stopped our car at the entrance to the village . It was not very sunny and there were a lot of trees in the village so we walked to my friend’s relatives’ house .Like almost every village in the countryside ,my friend’s village looks quiet and peaceful with bamboos , banyan trees , water wellsWe enjoyed the beautiful sights , the fresh air, met friendly people and took lots of photos. I hope I will go there again .
