Question 4. Read the following passage and do the specified task. 
TET 
Tet or “Vietnamese Lunar New Year”, is the most important and popular (1) and festival in Vietnam. It 
is the Vietnamese New Year marking the (2) of spring based on the Chinese calendar, a lunisolar calendar. 
In the period leading up to Tet, the country is abuzz with preparations. Then a few (3) before Tet the 
pace begins to slow down, as thousands of city residents depart for their ancestral home towns in the provinces. 
Finally on the first day of the new year, an abrupt transformation occurs: the streets become (4), 
almost deserted. Nearly all shops and restaurants (5) for three days. 
In the major cities, streets are decorated with lights and public festivities are organized which attract many 
thousands of residents. But for Vietnamese, Tet is mostly a private family (6).

Dự án 1 000 tỉ cây xanh của giới trẻ toàn cầu 
Cậu thiếu niên người Đức Felix Finkbeiner được mời phát biểu trước Đại hội đồng Liên Hiệp Quốc vào năm 
2011 khi anh mới 13 tuổi về những biến đổi khắc nghiệt của khí hậu toàn cầu. Anh nói: “Chúng con cho rằng 
người lớn biết được những tác hại của biến đổi khí hậu và cũng biết được những biện pháp để khắc phục. Tuy 
nhiên chúng con không hiểu được vì sao người lớn lại có quá ít hành động thực tế. Nhưng tương lai thế giới là của 
chúng con. Chúng con không tin rằng chỉ có người lớn mới cứu được tương lai của chúng con và chúng con buộc 
phải hành động để giữ lấy tương lai của mình.” Một hành động hiệu quả để tránh sự nóng lên toàn cầu mà hậu 
quả là thiên tai, bão lụt, hạn hán chính là trồng thật nhiều cây xanh trên Trái Đất. 
 Từ năm 9 tuổi, Finkbeiner đã khởi xướng phong trào “Trồng cây cho Trái Đất” thành một mạng lưới ở 
nhiều nơi trên thế giới, qui tụ các nhà hoạt động trẻ tuổi, nhằm nỗ lực làm chậm lại tình trạng ấm lên toàn cầu 
bằng cách khôi phục những cánh rừng và trồng thật nhiều cây xanh trên hành tinh của chúng ta. 
 Từ mục tiêu ban đầu trồng 1 triệu cây xanh trên nước Đức, hiện nay phong trào đã tiến hành trồng được 
hơn 14 tỉ cây xanh tại khoảng 130 nước trên thế giới và đang đặt ra mục tiêu mới nhằm trồng 1 000 tỉ cây, tức 150 
cây xanh cho mỗi người trên Trái Đất. 
Để tổ chức thực hiện được mục tiêu đó, phong trào của Finkbeiner đã và đang vận động khoảng 55 ngàn 
“Đại sứ vì công lý cho khí hậu” tham gia phong trào, thu hút những người trẻ tuổi tham gia vào nỗ lực đối phó với 
nguy cơ về biến đổi khí hậu toàn cầu. Phần lớn các đại sứ này trên thế giới đều nằm trong lứa tuổi từ 9 đến 12.
