2. Wh-questions:

How far is it from your house to school? It’s about + quảng đường + m /km
How do you go/ get to school? I go/ get to school by bike/ on foot
Unit 2:
1. The simple future (Thì tương lai đơn)
Form

Dấu hiện nhận biết
Tomorrow (ngy mai), someday/ one day (1 ngày nào đó), in the future ( trong tương lai), in three days ( 3 ngày nữa), next ( kế tiếp)
2. Wh-questions:
	- What is your telephone number? -> 9432235 
- Where do you live? = What’s your address? : Bạn sống ở đâu? / Địa chỉ của bạn là gì?
-> I live in /on /at..... = My address is . : Tôi sống ở ./ Địa chỉ của tôi là .
	- What is your date of birth? = When is your birthday? Bạn sinh vào ngày mấy
-> It’s on ( June eighth ): Vào ngày 8 / 6
	- How old will you be on your next birthday? (Bạn sẽ bao nhiêu tuổi trong ngày sinh nhật tới?)
 -> I will be 14. Tôi sẽ là 14 tuổi.
3. Ordinal numbers: 1st= first , 2nd = second
Dùng để nói thứ hạng, và các ngày trong tháng
1st=first; 2nd=second; 3rd=third; 4th=fourth; 5th=fifth; 6th=sixth; 7th= seventh; 8th=eighth; 9th=ninth 10th=tenth; 11th=eleventh; 12th=twelfth; 13th=thirteenth; 14th=fourteenth; 15th=fifteenth; 16th=sixteenth; 17th=seventeenth; 18th=eighteenth; 19th=nineteenth; 20th=twentieth; 21st =twenty-first; 22nd=twenty-second; 23rd= twenty-third; 24th=twenty-fourth; 25th= twenty-fifth; 26th= twenty-sixth; 27th = twenty-seventh; 28th= twenty-eighth; 29th=twenty-ninth; 30th=thirthieth; 31st=thirty-first.
Unit 3:
 1. EXCLAMATIONS (Câu cảm thán)
* Để diễn tả tâm tư, tình cảm: complain: (phàn nàn)/ compliment (khen ngợi) 
Structure 1:
 What +a/an +adj +N! ( danh từ số ít đếm được)
F Ex1: beautiful pictureà What a beautiful piture!
F Ex2: awful day à What an awful day!
Structure 2: 
	 What + adj +Ns! (D.từ số nhiều hoặc danh từ không đếm được)

2. Prepositions of position: (Giới từ chỉ vị trí, nơi trốn)
- Thường đứng trước các danh từ hoặc cụm danh từ.
«in : bên trong
+ in + tên tỉnh/ thành phố/ nước (in Binh Dương/ In Viet nam)
+ in + tháng/ năm (in may/ in 2011)
+ in the morning/ afternoon/ evening
+ in the middle of: ở giữa
«on: Trên
+ on + tên con phố (on Tran Hung Dao street)
+ on the first/ second floor: ở tầng thứ nhất/ hai
+ on the right/ left
«at: ở tại
+ at + số nhà (at 123 Tran Hung Dao Street)
+ at the back of: ở cuối
in front of : ở phía trước
behind: ở phía sau
to the right/ left of: bn phải/ bn tri
next to: bn cạnh
near: ở gần
opposite: đối diện
between.... and: ở giữa..v
* Where is the coach? It is under the picture.
2. Wh-questions about job? Hỏi nghề nghiệp
	- What do you do? = What is your job? -> I’m a student/ teacher.
	 Where do you/ does she work?
3. Comparative and superlative ( So sánh hơn và so sánh hơn nhất )
1. Comparative (s.s hơn )
a. Short adj (t.t ngắn): Có 1 âm, hoặc 2 âm nếu tận cùng=”y , er , ow”
S1+be+ADJ+ER+THAN+S2
hơn	( Nguyên âm: u ,e ,o ,a , i )
Ex1: She is taller than I. (tall )
Ex2: Nam’ house is older than mine.(old).
Qt1: shortà shorter/ cheapàcheaper smallà smaller .Qt2: large à larger (chỉ thêm “r”)
Qt3: hotà hotter ; bigàbigger (gấp đôi phụ âm cuối nếu trước nó là nguyn m
Qt4: happyà happier ; easyà easier. (“y”à “i+er”)
Bất quy tắc: goodà better ; bad à worse ; a little à less ; many/much à more.

b. Long adj (t.t dài) 2 am tiết trở len S1+ BE +MORE +ADJ +THAN +S2
Ex1:The new shoes style is more popular than the normal style.(popular)
Ex2:Mr Green’s house is more comfortable than Mr Black’s house.(comfortable)
2. Superlative (s.s nhất )
a. Short adj (t.t ngắn): S+BE +THE +ADJ+EST (nhất)
Ex1: The villa is the oldest house. (Biệt thự là căn nhà cổ nhất.)
Ex2: His house is the biggest. (Nhà anh ấy lớn nhất.)
Qt1: cheapà the cheapest /smallà the smallest . Qt2: bigà the biggest / hotàthe hottest.
Qt3: largeà the largest. Qt4: happyàthe happiest / easyàeasiest
Bất quy tắc: goodàthe best; badà the worst; a littleà the least; many/muchà the most.
b. Long adj (t.t dài): S+BE +THE MOST +ADJ
Ex1:The villa is the most expensive.(Biệt thự đắt tiền nhất.)
Ex2: Her house is the most beautiful.(Nhà cô ấy đẹp nhất)
Ex3 :What is the hotest month of the year? (tháng nào nóng nhất trong năm?)
Unit 4:
1. Hỏi và trả lời v thời gian: What time is it? It is + giờ + phút
 What time is it ? ( = What is the time ? )
ðIt’s + giờ + phút ( 5:20à It’s five twenty / 3:15 à It’s three fifteen )
ð‚ It’s +phút + past (hơn ) +giờ : (5:10à It’s ten past five /3:15à It’s a quarter past three)
 To (kém) : (5:50à It’s ten to six /11:45à It’s a quarter to twelve )
( 15 phút =a quarter / 30 phút = half past à11:30= It’s half past eleven. )
* What time do you get up? -> I get up at.

4. Câu hỏi vị trí, hỏi chỉ dẫn, đưa ra chỉ dẫn:
- Where are the magazines? They are on the racks in the middle of the room.
Unit 5:
1. Ôn tập lại thì hiện tại đơn (Present simple tense)
- Dùng để diễn một hoạt động xảy ra
* Wh-questions: 
	- Which subject do you like best? -> I like math best.
	- What do you learn in + môn học? -> I learn about
	- What are you good at? -> I’m good at drawing. (good at: giỏi về)
	- What do you often do at recess? -> I often chat at recess.
2. Ôn lại thì hiện tại tiếp diễn (Present progressive)
- Dùng diễn tả hoạt động đang xảy ra. 
* Các trò chơi: play catch, play marbles, skip rope, play blindman’s bluff.
* Wh-question: 
	- What are the boys playing? -> they’re playing catch. 
Unit 6:
1. Ôn tập lại thì hiện tại đơn (Present simple tense)
 * Các trạng từ chỉ tần suất: always, usually, sometimes, often, never..
Đứng trước động từ thường 	Eg: She usually has breakfast
Đứng sau động tobe : 	 Eg: Nam is never late for school.
Đứng giữa trợ động từ và động từ chính: Eg: What do you often do after school?
- How often: Câu hỏi cho tần suất hành động xảy ra
	How often do you read in the library? -> I often read in the library.
2. Lời mời (invitation):
Ex:	 - Let's + V (infinitive) ... - Let's go swimming.
	 - Why don't you + V (infinitive) ...? - Why don't you play soccer?
	 - Would you like + to + V (infinitive) ...? - Would you like to see a movie?
	 - Should we + V (infinitive) ...? - Should we play volleyball?
	 - What about + V-ing ...? - What about watching TV?
 - Would you like to +V(infinitive)...? - Would you like to come to my house for lunch?
	* Lời chấp nhận lịch sự (polite acceptance):
	- OK. Good idea. - Yes, I'd love to.
	- Great!	- Thanks for inviting me.
* Lời từ chối lịch sự (polite refusal):
	- I'm sorry, I can't.	- I’m not sure. I’ll ..
- I would love to but ...	- I'm sorry, I can't. Thanks any way.
Unit 7
1. Simple present tense: 
	- What time do your classes/ finish? -> At 7.15/ 11.30
	- For how many hours a day do you do your homework? -> It takes about 2 hours.
	- What about you? 
2. Simple future tense: 
- What will you do during your vacation? -> I’ll
- You’ll be late for school.
3. So sánh của danh từ: nhiều hơn: more 
Ít hơn	- fewer + danh từ đếm được,
- less + danh từ không đếm được 
	Ex: You have fewer/ more vacations than American students.
	 The longest vacation is in summer.
	* a few + danh từ số nhiều	ex: We only work a few hours a day.	
Unit 8
 1. Asking the way:
* hỏi thăm đường đi:
- Excuseme. Could you show me the way to the supermarket, please? 
- Could you tell me how to get the souvenir shop?
* chỉ đường:
- OK. Go straight ahead. Take the first street on the right. The supermarket is in front of you. 
2. Ôn lại giới từ chỉ vị trí: between, in front of, next to, opposite, behind, to the right of,.
	- Where is the bank? -> It’s between the restaurant and the hotel.
3. Đưa ra yêu cầu:
	- I’d like to send this letter to the USA.
	- I need some envelopes.
* Cách hỏi giá: 	- How much is this?
	- How much are these?
	- How much is a letter to Hochiminh City?
	-> It’s 2000 dong.
4. Structure: need/ want to do something: muốn làm gì đó
	..need/want to + V(inf)
5. Modals: can/ should/ must/ have to + V(inf)
	- can: có thể	ex: She can dance.
	- should: nên	ex: You should learn hard.
	- must/ have to: phải	ex: She must go.
