ĐỀ CƯƠNG CHI TIẾT ĐỀ ÁN NÂNG CAO TRÌNH ĐỘ TIẾNG ANH CHUƠNG TRÌNH NGHE – B2 1. Mô tả môn học Đối tượng người học đa dạng thuộc 3 nhóm đối tượng sau: - Giáo viên các cấp (đi bồi dưỡng thêm): Những giáo viên tốt nghiệp Đại học, Cao đẳng trước năm 2013. Thời điểm đó, sinh viên tốt nghiệp hoặc giáo viên chưa phải chứng minh năng lực tiếng Anh bằng một chứng chỉ quốc tế hay quốc gia. Rất nhiều giáo viên không quen với dạng đề thi tiếng Anh quốc tế như IELTS, TOEFL iBT, KET, PET hay FCE. Vì vậy họ không khái niệm gì về việc xây dựng những kĩ năng cần thiết cho mỗi dạng đề thi tiếng Anh quốc tế. Bên cạnh đó, sau một thời gian giảng dạy tại các trường Tiểu học và Trung học Cơ sở chỉ dạy những kiến thức tiếng Anh cơ bản cho nên những kĩ năng nghe ở trình độ cao sẽ dần dần bị lãng quên. Hầu hết các giáo viên hiện đang tham gia giảng dạy đều gặp nhiều khó khăn với môn Nghe do thiếu tài liệu và những định hướng, hướng dẫn cần thiết cho việc tự học, tự bồi dưỡng. - Sinh viên: Hiện này theo quy định của Bộ giáo dục và đào tạo, sinh viên các trường Đại học cần phải đại trình độ ngoại ngữ B1 thì mới được tốt nghiệp Đại học. Vì vậy, sinh viên chuyên ngành của Khoa Ngoại Ngữ - Đại học Thái Nguyên cũng như các trường Cao đẳng và Đại học khác trong vùng đều cần được bồi dưỡng và làm quen với những dạng đề thi tiếng Anh quốc tế và những kĩ năng cần thiết cho kì thi. - Người học tự do: Cán bộ công nhân viên chức, những người làm công tác kinh doanh hay những nhà quản lý đều cần tiếng Anh và những minh chứng về trình độ tiếng Anh cần thiết cho công việc của họ. Tóm lại, đối tượng người học tham gia khóa học này có những đặc điểm chung như sau: - cần chứng minh năng lực tiếng Anh ở trình độ trên trung cấp và cao cấp - kiến thức tiếng Anh hiện đang ở trình độ trên trung cấp và cao cấp - hiểu biết hạn chế về những kĩ thuật nghe cũng như hạn chế về những kĩ năng cần có cho trình độ trên trung cấp và cao cấp, cũng như dạng đề thi của những kì thi quốc tế. - gặp nhiều khó khăn trong việc tìm kiếm tài liệu cũng như những hỗ trợ cần thiết trong quá trình học. 2. Mục đích và Mục tiêu 2.1. Mục đích - Kết thúc khóa học, người học sẽ: + có được những kĩ năng nghe tiếng Anh cần thiết cho chương trình B2, chương trình trung cấp. + được làm quen với định dạng đề thi nghe. 2.2. Mục tiêu - Về cơ bản, kết thúc khóa học, người học sẽ có thể: + hiểu chi tiết những thông điệp của ngôn ngữ nói kể cả khi có tiếng ồn xung quanh. + hiểu được ngôn ngữ nói tiêu chuẩn, trực tiếp hay thông qua những phương tiện truyền thông (VD: bài giảng, báo cáo, chương trình tin tức trên TV, phim tài liệu hay thông báo tại những bến xe, ga xe lửa, sân bay) về những nội dung cả quen thuộc và không quen thuộc thường xuyên phải tiếp xúc trong cuộc sống hàng ngày, trong học thuật hoặc trong nghề nghiệp; hiểu được thái độ, tâm trạng, giọng nói của người nói + hiểu được ý chính của những bài nói có nội dùng cụ thể hay trừu tượng. + có thể hiểu được những bài nói chứa nội dung khá phức tạp nhưng được trình bày một cách rõ ràng, rành mạch. 3. Predicting: Students have to look at the start of the conversation and decide possible answers to the questions. 2.2. Dicussion: Students have chance to listen for the first time and check their ideas individually and with their partners. 2.3. Listen to the conversation once again and answer the questions about the detail of the conversation. Task 3 3.1. Predicting: Students have to listen to a part of the radio interview and guess who Irene is and why she is talking to David Wilson. 3.2. True/ False: Students have to listen to the interview and decide if the statements below are true or false. Task 4 4.1. Reading & Answer the questions: Students have to read the advert from the BBC radio programme and answer the questions. 4.2. True/ False: The students have to listen to the first part of the conversation and decide if the statements are true or false. 4.3. Multiple choices: Students have to listen to the next part of the conversation and choose the best answer from A, B and C. 4.4. Discussion: Students look at the pictures and based on the information given, try to answer the questions with their partners. 4.5. Listen and choose right answer.
