Bat Trang is probably the most famous place when talking about a traditional craft village in Ha Noi. With the long history, this craft village has something ancient and attractive. You can take a walk or join a buffalo tour for sightseeing and shopping. If you want a beautiful souvenir, you can buy a product there with affordable price. Besides many pottery stores along the road in the village, you should visit Bat Trang Pottery Market where you can directly make pottery products by yourselves. Many youngsters and foreign tourists are interested in in this pottery- making experience, and spend a whole day in the market to make a gift for family or friends. 
UNIT 2: CITY LIFE

Vung Tau is a small city in Southeast Vietnam. It is beautiful city to visit. It has a long beach with a lot of small mountains. At weekends, people love coming here for relaxing because it’s pretty quiet and clean. The attraction is old lighthouse, it was built in 1907, from here, you can see most the sights of the city. The seafood here is fresh, delicious and affordable. You can order your food and it is cooked right before you. But for me, what I like most about Vung Tau is temples and pagodas, I can spend a lot of time wandering around and look at them.
Disadvantages of living in big cities (bất lợi của việc sống ở thành phố lớn)
There are a lot of disadvantages of living in a big city, but air pollution, traffic jam and high living standard are three main disadvantages. Firstly, air pollution is a big disadvantage that people living in big cities have to face because a number of factories are increasing fast. Next is traffic jam. There are a lot of people and transportation in big cities so people always get stuck in the street. Finally, living standard in big cities is very high. It will be difficult for the poor and workers because they have to pay too much for public services while their salary is too low. In short, it is not easy to love in a big city.
UNIT 3. TEEN STRESS AND PRESSURE

I’m now in grade 9 at ABC school. I love my school, my teachers and my parents. But this year I have to learn too much. My parents want me to become an engineer so I must try my best to enter the best university. Beside going to school, I have to go the many extra classes at night. My weekend is also fully booked with math, English, literature, physics and chemistry classes. I don’t have time for myself. I don’t know how to tell with my parents about this problem. I wish I could go back to my childhood when I don’t have to worry about my studies.

Students twenty years ago were not able to enjoy the Internet in their studies. That’s why it took them a lot of time, energy, and even money, to do a project that we can now easily complete in one or two days. For example, when being asked to write a report about past habits, the students had to go to the library, look for books on the topics, read the books and write any information that they thought was useful for their report. They have to meet some old people and talk to them about the past. At home, they have to rewrite their piece of writing a lot of times before hand it in to the teachers.
UNIT 5 WONDERS OF VIETNAM

Ha Long Bay is a remarkable natural wonder of the world, which is recognized by UNESCO as one of the World Heritage. The places of interest as well as the various plants and animals there will surprise you. Thousands of beautiful islands make Ha Long Bay different from other natural wonders. Tourists have chance to visit some typical islands that they will never forget. Particularly, limestone islands will make people astounded because of its magnificent caverns related to a number of legends. When coming to Ha Long Bay, people are able to see lots of significant geological features about the Earth’s formation, the ancient Viet’s life and the historical values of Vietnam. It is believed that a dragon descended from the sky. There were islands wherever it landed, which forms citadels to help Vietnamese people keep away from invaders. It’s worth visiting as there are something lively as well as mysterious to explore.
